Research Essay Requirements: Draft 1 DUE APRIL 22/ FINAL DRAFT DUE APRIL 29
The Research Essay is an argumentative essay. It must be on one of the topics
listed below. Your final draft of the Research Essay must be 150 to 500 words
long. Research is required for this essay; you must properly use, cite, and
integrate at least 3 quotations from 3 sources. Any research you use, whether
you quote or paraphrase, must be documented properly in MLA format, including
works cited entries and parenthetical citations. You must use Microsoft Word and
MLA format/document setup. For details on how you will be graded, refer to the
rubric below. Refer to Chapter 13 for suggestions on writing an argumentation
essay.
